The Louvre press is used to create the louvred side panels to the chassis, body parts formed over hard wood pattern blocks and assembled with brass bulkheads soft soldered in place to facilitate final assembly.  The fenders and their respective stays are located with the aid of thick card templates attached to the axles, with the shapes and locations taken directly from the plans. The stays are riveted and soft soldered to the chassis, with the fenders the same to the stays.
