With all the tubular sections of the body frame in place on the master body pattern, aluminium foil is placed under each of the joints to be soldered together, with allowance made for being able to remove the frame when complete. After the soldering it is then removed from the pattern and reassembled into 4 basic parts, then fitted into the body shell and matched to the chassis.
