Javier Fonticoba is a fifty something accountant living in Los Cabos, Mexico, who started as a child building plastic models, as most of us did, then moved on to building model boats in wood.  He then came across the ‘Wingrove’  books on scratch building car miniatures in metal and got hooked.  His first model, fully scratch built in brass and copper sheet is of the 1927 Fiat 806 Corsa is in 1/8th scale.  His next is the Bugatti Type 35B.  Javier has a small work area with a Unimat 3 lathe and Smithy mill/drill/lathe multi purpose machine.
