The 1938 2.9 Alfa Romeo is one of my favourite subjects. Using basically the same engine as the 1932 P3 Monoposto racing car, the family of cars that culminated in the 1938 Mille Miglia Sports racing cars and the road going Spiders and Berlinettas, is for me the ultimate in artistic automobile design and excellence of the late 1930s in Europe.
